Practicing
Practice, Practice AND Practice..............Practice makes a person perfect. There are a dozen of ways you can practice. All of them are equally good and effective. Some of the very common and helpful ones are:
First, practicing in front of the mirror and recording your voice.
Second, performing and practicing in front of a small audience to improve your confidence.
You should not just practice once or twice but practice over and over again but just be careful to not get a sore throat before the real important presentation.

WAys to practice
in front of the mirror and recording your voice
One of the very good and effective ways of practicing is in front of a mirror where you can actually see yourself. The reason why it is known to be so good is because you can actually see yourself all the time. You can see all your expressions that you are making and are able to change them well accordingly. Not only that, you are able to see your body language, if you are standing straight or bent. If you are standing in very lethargic way, staying too stiff and make changes.
Then next comes recording your voice. It is good to record your speech while practicing as then you can hear yourself speaking and can come to know your flaws for example if you are squeaky, too loud or too soft.

In front of a small audience
Practicing in front of a few people always helps. It does not only helps you practice but also helps you to build confidence which will be extremely useful when you are really going to present. The few people can be anyone from your friends, to the teachers, your family and relatives.
These ways of practicing are very good so there is only one thing I can say.......Practice, Practice and Practice..........
